i feel like i’m finally making pieces that i like even outside of the whole thesisclasscontext. FEELING GOOD & STAYIN TRU2THASELF (TY SABSABSAB). i’m a whole semester late, but i finally feel like i’m on the right track. just hoping i can keep this up!
focusing a lot more on the small details now because i love details and i don’t know why i tried so hard to tone down my intenselovefordetails in the first 6 pieces i did for thesis. i don’t even care if nobody notices them haha. just adding them made me feel good!! prof said he liked the quirky eyeball elbow patches?? and all the small details? VALIDATION(?WHAT’STHATWORD) FEELS NICE

there’s a lot of things i’m happy with in this piece! the way i coloured and drew her sausagefingeredhands, the way that massive thirdeye turned out (COMPLETE FLUKE), the atmosphere i was able to achieve for house bit, and the pins on her shirt (elephants never forget and this is a piece about retrieving memories and things get it I AM SO SMART)

i’m really glad i followed my gut with this one. feeling proud this one’s my baby.
